Season 1: Spring Quarter
April, May, and June.
The theme for this quarter is RENEWING.
How do we work with Earth's Spring energies to renew ourselves?
During these three moons, we will each make a ceremony on Earth, and, through our intention, plant a seed of renewal in the Garden of our Life.
In April, we imagine ourselves standing in the SouthEast of the Wheel where the orange dot lives and the word/energy is APPRECIATING.
Now imagine spreading out your arms to each side of you where two other energies are represented by two more dots. Each dot will provide a focus for our Spring Quarter.
In May, we shift to the East of the Wheel on the yellow dot where the word/energy is CREATING.
In June, we move our attention to the South of the Wheel on the red dot where the word/energy is ADVENTURING.
Season 2: Summer Quarter
July, August, and September.
The theme for this quarter is GIVING BACK
How do we work with Earth's Summer energies to pledge what we give back to life?
During these three moons, we will each make a ceremony on Earth, and, through our giving and receiving, celebrate and savor the fruits of our seed in the Garden of our Life.
In July, we imagine ourselves standing in the SouthWest of the Wheel where the magenta dot lives and the word/energy is FOCUSING
In August, we shift to the South of the Wheel on the red dot where the word/energy is WONDERING.
In September, we move our attention to the West of the Wheel on the purple dot where the word/energy is STRENGTHENING.
Season 3: Autumn Quarter
October, November, and December.
The theme for this quarter is GRATITUDE.
How do we work with Earth's Autumn energies to give thanks for this year's abundance?
During these three moons, we will each make a ceremony on Earth, and, through our heartfelt thanks, harvest the seeds from the Garden of our Life.
In October, we imagine ourselves standing in the NorthWest of the Wheel where the lilac dot lives and the word/energy is LEARNING.
In November, we shift to the West of the Wheel on the purple dot where the word/energy is HEALING.
In December, we move our attention to the North of the Wheel on the blue dot where the word/energy is CLARIFYING.
Season 4: Winter Quarter
January, February, and March.
The theme for this quarter is DREAMING
How do we work with Earth's Winter energies to go inward and dream our new seeds into Life?
During this moon, we will each make a ceremony on Earth, and, through our conceiving, impregnate the new seeds in the dark.
In January, we imagine ourselves standing in the NorthEast of the Wheel where the green dot lives and the word/energy is TRANSFORMING.
In February, we shift to the East of the Wheel on the yellow dot where the word/energy is ACTIVATING.
In March, we move our attention to the East of the Wheel on the yellow dot where the word/energy is IMAGINING.
13 Moons Completion:
April 2022.
In this journey around the Medicine Wheel of 13 Moons, we will have touched each of the cardinal directions twice, thereby anchoring our learning with the energies of East - Spirit; South - Emotions; West - Body; and North - Mind.
