2023 Summer Solstice Ceremony

Join Us...for a unique ceremonial experience.
In this time of the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere on Planet Earth, we invite us all to gather in ceremony, both OnLine and OnEarth, to celebrate the gifts of Mother Life and to discover what we each choose to "Give Back" to Her during this next Cycle of the Sun.

STRUCTURE
We begin at 8:00 AM PDT on June 3rd, for a two-hour online ceremony to prepare for the upcoming four-day ceremony.
On June 15th, 16th, 17th, and 18th, we will gather on Zoom at 8:00 AM PT for 2.5 hours each of these days and then we invite you to spend time on the Earth in reflective ceremony.
We will provide guidance and a "light scaffolding" for each day's ceremony on the land. There will be space for triads to meet and for spontaneous conversations to occur online during the four days. Other practices will be shared for each day's ceremony.
When you commit to participating in the 2023 Summer Solstice Ceremony, we ask that you make space in your life to be present for the entire ceremony, just as you would if we were gathering at Sequoia Retreat Center, as we have for the last 20 years.

PREPARING:
SATURDAY, JUNE 3rd
8:00 to 10:00 AM PDT
Meet on Zoom to explore the design of the ceremony.

GATHERING:
THURSDAY JUNE 15th
The ceremony will begin at 8:00 AM PDT on Zoom for 150 Minutes.
We will String Our Beads, work out our triad schedules, dance the Tslagi, and spend some quiet minutes with the Sacred Tree of Life.
The rest of the day there will be space for reflection, dreaming, writing and gathering our intention.
REMEMBERING:
FRIDAY JUNE 16th
The ceremony will begin at 8:00 AM PDT on Zoom for 150 Minutes.
We will learn more about the 19 - Pure Science.
We will dedicate ourselves to reflecting upon the last Cycle of the Sun and ceremonially letting go and releasing all that we are now complete with, from the last cycle of our life.
CHOOSING:
SATURDAY JUNE 17th
The ceremony will begin at 8:00 AM PDT on Zoom for 150 Minutes.
We will set the stage for each of us to discover what we wish to commit to for the next Cycle of the Sun.
We will act as Sacred Mirrors in our Triads and spend as much time with Mother Earth as we can.
During this time, we will sit with a tree of our choice and share our commitment with her in our own ceremony.
WITNESSING:
SUNDAY JUNE 18th
The ceremony will begin at 8:00 AM PDT on Zoom for 150 Minutes.
We will take time to speak our commitments to one another and to Life herself.
We will be generous in our listening and bold in our speaking.
Our commitments will be gathered in our OnLine space, so that we can revisit them during the coming year.
