For 18 Years, Pele and FireHawk have journeyed from California to Minnesota to gather with the people in a ceremonial way. Last year, for the first time, we held our Fall Ceremony at Camp Onomia.

 

This year, as the Fall Equinox begins, we warmly invite you to come and explore the winds of change and evolving possibilities that exist for each of us.

 

Our meeting and sleeping lodge is situated on the shore of Lake Shakopee. There are many outside places for us to gather and enjoy the autumn breezes. A trail beckons us to the Cathedral of the Pines and the Fire Circle overlooks the lake.

The Context for this Ceremony

It is easy to feel buffeted by the Winds of Change blowing around our world. We may forget, or feel far away from the Sacred Dream of Our life. We may have forgotten the essence Seed of our Life. Some days, the Fire of Our Vital Energy may feel almost extinguished.

And so, once again, we turn back toward our Mother Earth. We place ourselves in her arms and re-kindle the trust we were born into this Life with in abundant fullness.

Autumn is the completion of one of Earth's Grand Stories… a season of harvesting and gratitude, of change and decay and a time to pause and be grateful for all that we are and all that we may become.

As human beings, we live just this side of an invisible membrane separating our day-to-day consciousness from the Mystery of Creation. 

Ceremony allows us to enter into this Mystery.

 The Fall Ceremony invites us to attune and align our story with this "coming to fruition" of our Earth home. As always, we will be weaving together our time alone, our time with one another in community, and, especially, our time with Mother Earth in reflective and supportive relationship.

Generosity is the Spirit of this Season of falling leaves and crisp mornings dancing by the lakeside with a circle of friends, peers, strangers and companions.

We can more easily find our way when we surround ourselves with the ever-present beauty of the natural world as well as the beauty that we have created with our own hands.

We warmly invite you to come and join us by the water and walk together in the fields and forests around the lake. Wonder… discover… remember so that we can all give generously back to Life from our own deepest heart's knowing.

Through the co-creation of ceremony, our mind relaxes and we open and re-awaken to our Original Nature.

Each ceremony begins with a "broad stroke" design, most often guided by a medicine wheel. Our fall ceremony broad stroke is outlined in the video below. The design weaves together Grounding Earth, Flowing Water, Activating Air, and Radiant, Abundant Sun.

 

Health & Safety

We want to make our Covid protocol for the ceremony simple. We ask that everyone obtain a negative Covid test 72 hours before the ceremony begins.

This is on an honor system, there are no proofs needed to participate.

Details:

There are three options for accommodations. Single rooms with a private bath, double rooms with bath, and camping on the land (access to showers included). Meals and all materials are included.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
If written notification of cancellation is received by August 15th, 2022 100% of the program fees paid (minus a $75 processing fee) will be refunded. After August 15th, 50% of program fees paid (minus the same $75 fee) will be refunded if the space is filled by another. No refunds after August 22nd.
